Here is what you can expect when you come to Brilliance Dentistry for a cleaning and exam:
Our team will greet you and get you started, catching up on any paperwork if needed, and we’ll discuss your medical history if it’s your first visit.
If you’re due for imaging, we’ll capture x-rays.
Now you’ll receive a professional dental cleaning to remove plaque and tartar, ensuring your teeth stay clean and healthy!
Next, Dr. Bissoon will perform a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, mouth, head, and neck. Every exam at Brilliance Dentistry includes an oral cancer screening.
Finally, you and the doctor will chat about what she sees in your imaging and has observed during your exam. The two of you will discuss treatment options if needed.
Once you’re all finished, we’ll check you out and schedule your next checkup along with any treatment you may need. Most patients are recommended to have a cleaning and exam every six months.
